We’re a technology and media company that sees digital as a means to connect, but the aspiration is all about taking Social offline and to new heights. This role will focus primarily on implementing web application features while advising the team on technology choices needed to move beyond the prototyping stage.

What we're looking for:
Positive, constructive, and collaborative attitude with strong work ethic and high integrity.

Experience building ReSTful services in Java and Spring Boot, web servers (Tomcat, Jetty, nginx), and working with relational databases (MySQL preferred).
Familiarity with AWS deployment stack (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS). ECS/EKS a bonus, but not required.
People skills to work effectively and respectfully with people in various job functions, backgrounds, cultures, locations, and languages.
Fluency in English and aptitude to learn new online tools as required.
If you don’t quite meet a qualification or two (excluding the first bullet point), then consider taking a chance! We will too, especially if it means the opportunity to enrich the team with a variety of experiences, perspectives, and abilities.
Nice to have:
Mobile development experience in React Native, Flutter, or other cross-platform mobile UI frameworks.
